Working Process
CR coil is loaded on the Coil Car by overhead crane. The coil car travels on rail lines by AC motor & brings the coil to the uncoiler. The lifting cylinder of the coil car centralizes the coil to the Uncoiler centre. The two opposed bodies of the uncoiler are mover towards each other so that the collapsed drums of both the bodies enter the ID of the coil. After proper positioning, the drums are expanded to hold the coil firmly. The coil car is lowered and taken back.
The uncoiler drive rotates the coil and brings the leading end in the feeding position. Snubber roll in lowered on the coil and the coil straps are cut. With the operation of peeler table & uncoiler drive, the leading end is fed in the Pinch Roll leveler. The rolls are pressed and the drives of uncoiler & pinch roll take the leading end forward though loop table , vertical guides, measuring roll in to the feed roll. As the Feed roll motor accepts the leading end, the loop table is removed back and the pinch roll drive takes the material in the loop. The leading end is taken ahead of the shear and the end is cut.
The line is put in Auto mode and run. The pinch roll keeps on running against the braking resistance of the uncoiler while the feed roll feeds the sheet forward as per the length fed in the PLC and stops. The shear cuts the sheet. The Feed roll again starts feeding while the cut sheet moves over the belt conveyor to the stacker where it is stacked manually against the stoppers. The feed roll keeps the operation on and stops after the set length is fed. The shear is operated and again the feeding starts.
The operation goes on until the stack is full. Then the stacker trolley is shifted sideways to bring spare trolley in operation. The operation starts again while the filled stack is removed by the overhead crane/ fork lift trucks.
The operation goes on until the coil is finished. The next coil is fed in the same manner.
The PLC can be fed with the no of cuts for a particular length after which it stops automatically. The stacker trolley is shifted and the line is run with the new length. |
